Job Title: CNC Mill MachinistJob DescriptionSeeking an experienced CNC Mill Machinist to join our team in North Houston. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, editing, and operating CNC milling machines, ensuring the production of high-quality parts.ResponsibilitiesSet up and prepare CNC milling machines for production runs.Edit and optimize machine programs (G-codes) to achieve precise specifications.Operate CNC milling machines to produce parts according to engineering drawings and blueprints.Monitor machine performance, make adjustments, and perform routine maintenance.Inspect finished parts to meet stringent quality standards, holding tolerances of +/- 0.003.Work with a variety of materials, including steel, exotic metals, fiberglass, and aluminum.Collaborate in an R&D shop environment that supports production by building proprietary production machinery and equipment.Essential SkillsProven experience as a CNC Mill Machinist.Proficiency in reading blueprints and engineering drawings.Experience machining various materials, including steel, exotic metals, fiberglass, and aluminum.Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain tight tolerances (+/- 0.003).Knowledge of CNC machine programming and operation.Experience editing G-codes for machine program optimization.Ability to troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance on CNC milling machines.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Safety-conscious with a commitment to following all safety protocols.4+ years' CNC 3-axis Mill experience or equivalent.Experience using micrometers, calipers, and various measuring instruments with basic math skills.Must be able to perform set-ups.Additional Skills & QualificationsHaas mill experience is a plus.Why Work Here?All tools will be provided by the company. This is a night shift position from 5:30 pm - 5:30 am, Monday through Friday, with the possibility of overtime and weekends as needed. Training will be conducted on the day shift for the first six months before moving to the night shift.
