Software Engineer - Attribution & Applications

Liftoff is the leading growth acceleration platform for the mobile industry, helping advertisers, publishers, game developers and DSPs scale revenue growth with solutions to market and monetize mobile apps.

About The Team:

The Attribution & Applications (A&A) team ingests and enriches attribution data that is a key component of Liftoff's ML datasets and reporting systems. The team is also responsible for evolving attribution systems in response to industry-wide privacy updates and building data-driven applications supporting several product areas including traffic quality and campaign management.

Responsibilities:

• Build and have end-to-end ownership of Liftoff's attribution systems, including data processing pipelines, and high-performance services.
• Build a deep understanding of data that Liftoff collects to influence ML and data-driven applications.
• Partner with the product team to plan short and long term strategy
• Contribute to an "engineering excellence" culture through state-of-the-art tools, risk-driven testing, explainable systems, and code review.
• Leverage your expertise in Go, SQL, or other technologies to empower and mentor the engineering team - maximizing team velocity.

Requirements:

• Very strong coding ability.
• Solid core CS fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, architecting systems).
• A high bar for quality and perfection, and the ability to temper it when necessary to ship.
• Sets ego aside in pursuit of finding the best solution, no matter where it comes from.
• Self-motivated and ability to get things done.
• Excited to work on large scale distributed systems.
• Excited to build and hone data-science skills.
• B.S. in Computer Science (or equivalent) & 5+ years software engineering experience or M.S. in Computer Science (or equivalent) & 3+ years software engineering experience.
