DevOps Engineer (Hybrid/On-Call) - Linux/AWS/Mash/Docker

Description

Captivation Software has an immediate need for a DevOps Engineer who will focus on DevOps engineering of a modernization effort to converge the agency's authoring, dissemination, and other supporting tools.

Candidates will be required to work a rotating pager schedule for emergency 24/7 call-in support as required (roughly one week out of every 4-6 weeks). Staff may charge 4 additional hours for the week they are on call in addition to hours worked.

Responsibilities

• Deploying applications
• Installing and configuring complex software
• Managing network servers and technology tools
• Monitoring and maintaining the system for required levels of performance
• Troubleshooting issues and outages

Requirements

Security Clearance:

• Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Master's degree can be substituted for two (2) years of experience.

Required Skills:

• Linux
• AWS, MASH, and VMs
• Deployments of distributed web applications (e.g. Gitlab CI/CD)
• Terraform scripting and VM provisioning
• Ansible scripting and development
• Thorough understanding of Docker & Docker Compose container technology
• Git

• AWS, eVo, VM, and UWE environments
• Docker Swarm
• Python scripting and development
• NiFi maintenance and configuration
• Elasticsearch maintenance and configuration
• Java/Spring Boot (troubleshooting error logs)

Benefits

• Annual Salary: $130,000 - $270,000 (Depends on the Years of Experience)
