Information System Security Engineer – Expert

Location: Chantilly, VA

Clearance: Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph needed to apply

Basic Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and a minimum of nine (9) years of relevant experience.
2. Must be a U.S. Citizen and have a CURRENT TS/SCI clearance with ACTIVE Poly.
3. Experience reviewing technical security assessments of computing environments that identify points of vulnerability or non-compliance.
4. Experience implementing the Risk Management Framework Process (RMF) and ability to support and document certification and accreditation artifacts.
5. Must have experience supporting the A&A process for system accreditation.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. CISSP, CASP, or other information technology security related certifications.
2. Experience using Rapid 7 or Tenable Nessus applications.
3. Background in Technical Writing or Instructional Systems Design would be helpful.
4. Privileged/Power-user level of knowledge is strongly suggested in at least one of the following: Microsoft Windows, Enterprise Linux variants, and Cloud computing infrastructure like AWS or Microsoft Azure.
