We are seeking engineers with education and experience to work in a fast-paced environment developing, building, and testing radomes, antennas, test fixtures, and electronic systems.The selected Engineer will have responsibility for and should have expertise in the following areas:Development, test, and validation of mechanical designs.Creation and/or modification of primary and secondary structures with 3-D models, assemblies and installations.Familiar with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).Experience with metallic and composite design.Knowledgeable of materials testing and characterization methods.Perform requirements definition, conceptual design, preliminary / layout, and detail design, drawing release, design review presentations, and support to fabrication.Analyze design risks, anticipate and mitigate risks when possible, and report concerns to supervisor.Work efficiently in an environment without the need for regular, direct oversight.QUALIFICATIONSBS with 4-6 years of experience or Advanced Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Manufacturing EngineeringExperience in mechanical designExperience with CATIA, Solidworks, Pro Engineer, Creo, Unigraphics, NX or equivalent 3-D Computer Aided Design (CAD) tool.Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) software, including pre- processing of models and post-processing of results, is desired.Must be eligible to obtain and/or maintain a Secret Clearance.
