Job Title: Engineer 1/2 (Distribution)

Job Description:
Experience in planning level utility projects including voltage conversions, feeder additions, overhead to underground feeder conversions, and reliability improvements.
Significant experience dealing with commercial/industrial customers with complex distribution systems (i.e., Network, Auto-Transfer multi-feeder, Distribution Ductline). Significant electric utility project management experience including an organized approach, time management of multiple projects, strong communication skills, ability to create and manage construction timelines, and lead pre-construction meetings.
Experience with construction standards.
Distribution high voltage switching experience to predict needs.
3 to 5 years of distribution experience on Southern Company System.
Multiple leased workers needed; must have necessary PPE (EH rated steel toe boots, FR clothing), need cell phone, and must have a valid driver license with a vehicle for commute between project sites.
