What You'll Do

We are looking for a hands-on Sr. Manager of Engineering to lead our Contract Management Lifecycle Workflow Service. You will help us build and deliver a scalable service to help us deliver the next generation of orchestration experience while supporting our current services.

As a technology leader, you will help build a top-tier software organization that is responsible for building a highly configurable workflow cloud based solution that meets the needs of our wide range of customers and their business processes. This position is a people manager role reporting to the Director, Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Be the engineering leader responsible for executing on our product roadmap using agile practices and will champion the culture, processes, and tools required to maintain a frictionless high quality development environment.
• Have passion for continuous improvement.
• Be responsible for delivering products that delight customers while managing the health of the code base through continuous refactoring and management of technical debt.
• Provide coaching and leadership in software best practices, automated test strategies, and work toward flattening the cost of change curve for our software products and services.
• Have a demonstrated track record of building high performing, secure applications and building security into the DNA of products.
• Lead a team of engineers at various stages of their career, actively investing in their growth and development.
• Cultivate an open, collaborative, and fun work environment for yourself and your team.
• Work closely with product, design, security, customer success and other teams to provide technical expertise throughout all phases of product development.
• Obsess over great user experience and will be a partner to product management and engineering, sales, operation, and other parts of the business.

Job Designation

Hybrid:

Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What You Bring

Basic

• 12+ years of combined software development and management experience across at least 3 languages or paradigms, and frameworks or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of hands on coding experience in software development or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of managing software organizations over 10 people or equivalent experience.
• Experience designing and delivering with highly scalable, high-volume distributed systems and services with top-tier resiliency, availability (five nines), and performance.
• Experience with large complex data ecosystems and data quality and lifecycle issues.
• Experience with SaaS and Cloud.

Preferred

• Experience building an integrations platform or infrastructure to seamlessly integrate third party applications.
• Experience building microservice, deploying services using K8S, or Public Cloud Deployment experience in Azure, AWS or equivalent.
• Demonstrated track record leading geographically dispersed teams.
• Experience with full stack SaaS development.

Wage Transparency

Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

• California: $171,500.00 - $277,025.00 base salary
• Illinois and Colorado: $164,800.00 - $232,750.00 base salary
• Washington and New York (including NYC metro area): $164,800.00 - $242,225.00 base salary
• Washington DC: $171,500.00 - $242,225.00 base salary

This role is also eligible for bonus, equity and benefits.
