Galileo Financial Technologies, LLC seeks Staff Software Engineer in Seattle, WA:
Job Duties : Lead the design, development, and testing of systems and services. Write, test, and
deploy efficient, scalable code to production. Ensure the codebase remains easy to change and
is always shippable. Deliver highly available services in a production environment and be
responsible for their monitoring. Participate in a 24/7 pager-rotation for services that the team
develops. Generate ideas for new initiatives and technologies. Collaborate with product and
design on new initiatives and features. Telecommuting is an option.
Minimum Requirements : Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science,
Engineering, or closely related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in job
offered or in any occupation in a related field, OR Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in
Computer Science, Engineering or closely related quantitative discipline and five (5) years of
progressively responsible experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field.
Special Skill Requirements : (1) DynamoDB; (2) 2 years of experience with Java; (3) Object
Oriented Design; (4) Unit Test; (5) Integration Testing; (6) Agile Development; (7) Performing
Code Reviews; and (8) APIs. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience
is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option.
