Job Title: IT Support Engineer
Location-Type: Onsite 5 days/week in Plano, TX

Duration: 2+ month contract
Compensation Range: $50-65/hr W2
Job Description:
Our client is seeking a proactive and adaptable IT Support Engineer to provide exceptional IT services and support. This role demands a customer-focused approach, strong technical skills, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Deploy and support Mac, Windows, and Linux OS.
- Provide user hardware/software/peripheral support.
- Troubleshoot and support LAN issues.
- Manage systems administration tasks.
- Oversee hardware procurement and asset management.
- Create and maintain documentation.
- Mentor junior technicians and handle escalations.
- Utilize Jira for ticket management and resolution.
- Prepare for increased ticket volume, especially during peak seasons.
Must-Haves
- 4+ years of hands-on IT support experience.
- Proficiency in Macintosh OS (10.6 or later) and Windows (7 or better).
- Solid understanding of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP).
- Experience in hardware troubleshooting and repair.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace and Office 365 management.
- OKTA experience.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Capability to lift or carry desktop computers (up to 25 lbs).
Nice to Haves
- Experience with AWS Connect.
- Coding/scripting skills.
- Operational support with Boomi.
- A+ or Network+ certifications.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT-related field.
- Experience with Linux, Cisco IOS, and server administration.
