Role: Process Engineer

Location: Lima, OH

Job Description:

• Work as an onsite Process Engineer in a process plant environment
• Deliver designs and Engineering packages related to process engineering for industrial plants.
• Define the scope of work discuss with customers, coordinate with the offshore team, and deliver the engineering deliverables.
• Coordinate with customers to collect all the required inputs to complete the engineering design.
• Coordinate with vendors and construction teams to get the required information for completing the design and technical evaluation of vendor quotations.
• Attend design reviews along with customers and the construction team and get the necessary approvals.
• Support in construction and start up activities.

Skills Required:

• Should have worked as a Process Engineer for industrial plants (Chemical, Agrochemical, Pharmaceutical, Fine chemicals, Specialty chemicals, Food & Beverages)
• Work experience in Surfactant making plant would be preferred.
• Ability to prepare and understand PFD, P&IDs, mass & energy balance calculation, hydraulic calculations
• Understand basic chemical engineering fundamentals like heat transfer, fluid mechanics, solid handling, mass transfer, etc.
• Should be able to specify process plant equipment and hands on experience in the selection of equipment as per project requirement
• Powder handling equipment sizing and design experience is an added advantage
• Should be able to specify pump, heat exchanger, tank, and other equipment independently
• Experience in the selection of safety devices and process safety management activities
• Previous work experience in sanitary piping & process systems would be a plus
• Conversant with MS Office application is a must
• Familiarity with working in AutoCAD will be an added advantage.
• Familiarity with AFT Fathom, AFT Arrow and any other hydraulic calculation software will be an added advantage
