Electrical Engineer
SUMMARY
This position is responsible for installing, trouble shooting, repairing and making modifications to equipment and plant facilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. This position may be required to work daily and/or weekend overtime
1. Analyze/ trouble shoot and rectify machine, facility and process difficulties both electrical and
mechanical (i.e. VFD. drives, 480v 3phase- motors, pumps- both pneumatic and elect.) that are beyond what a general Maintenance Tech can resolve.
2. Assist with machine Preventative Maintenance Program duties as necessary.
3. Follow all safety policies and working practices.
4. Maintain documentation of technical reference material.
5. Understand the requirements of Lock-Out / Tag-Out of machinery.
6. Participate in the Company HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) - will be responsible person
regarding Loc-Out / Tag-out.
7. This position requires infrequent daily and/or weekly overtime.
8. Ability to work with ITS system (Computer maintenance management System).
9. Ability to work with others.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no supervisory responsibilities, however; you may be called upon to direct Electrical Maintenance Teammates on methods of troubleshooting and repair of systems.
QUALIFICATIONS.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with 3 years of experience,
Or associate's degree with 6 years field experience,
Or combination of education and experience equivalent to the above.
JOB SKILLS
Ability to read and understand Electrical Schematics. Ability to read and understand system Blueprints. Ability to revise / create Electrical Drawings. AutoCAD experience is a Plus.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, 5S, and Kaizen are a plus.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Certificates desired are Master Electrician License
and or City Electricians license
