This role ensures a culture of safety is maintained in all processes and throughout the company, supports equipment maintenance and calibration, develops and maintains standard operating procedures and work instructions, executes validations, and analyses process data.This position is part of the Process Engineering Team located in Carlsbad, CA and will be onsite. At Radiometer, our vision is to improve global healthcare with reliable, fast, and easy patient diagnoses.As part of the Process Engineering Team, you will report to the Sr. Process Engineering Manager responsible for:Streamline, simplify, and poka-yoke processes with a focus on safety, quality, waste reduction, and cost improvement.Lead assigned projects, validation, and changes to standard operating procedures and work instructions.Identify, plan, and execute projects to achieve capacity, cost, yield, reliability, and cycle time improvements.Apply Danaher Business Systems (DBS)/Lean Manufacturing tools, specifically process variability reduction through yield & CTQ monitoring, process experiments, and action plan execution resulting from the implementation of these tools.The essential requirements of the job include:Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field1 or more years of experience as a Process Engineer or similar roleExperience in Lean Manufacturing Tools such as Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) and formalized Problem Solving.It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.Experience in a highly regulated environment such as medical device.Experience with Process Capability Analysis, Minitab or JMP Statistical Knowledge.If you thrive in a fast paced role and want to work to build a world-class Medical Device organization—read on.At this point, we hope you're feeling excited about the job description you’re reading. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
