Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelors Degree
- 7+ years of experience as a Data Engineer with a strong focus on cloud based environments
- Hands on experience in Terraform, SQL, and Python
- AWS Cloud services experience such as AWS Glue, AWL Lambda, Amazon S3, Amazon Redshift, Amazon EMR, and AWS Kinesis
- Experience in data lakes and data warehousing
- Experience in ETL tools and frameworks
Nice to Have Skills and Experience
- Experience with visualization tools (Quick Sight, Tableau, Power BI)
- Experience in Machine Learning and AI
- Certs in AWS data architecture or cloud architecture
- Knowledge of domain-driven design and microservices patterns
Job Description
A client of Insight Global's is looking for a Sr. Data Engineer local to Colorado to assist them in building and scaling their data platform on AWS. In this role you will work closely with the data architects, analysts and engineers to help design, develop and maintain robust data pipelines that extract, transform and load (ETL) data from various sources into their data lates.
Pay rate ranges from $65-$70
