Position Summary

Caribou Thunder is seeking a highly skilled DevSecOps Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team in supporting the NextGen Overhead Persistent Infrared Radar System. Your expertise and leadership will contribute to developing a standardized software applications intended to enhance ground radar sensor capabilities and data streams into the larger C2BMC platform.


Complete Description

The software engineer will apply scientific, engineering or business objects by writing, modifying, or adapting computer programs in machine level, assembly and third or fourth generation programming languages. Employ object-oriented design principles and paradigms as part of an agile team, using Atlassian tools as part of the Scrum process.

Plans, conducts, and coordinates software development activities. Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software within the NextGen OPIR Ground Solution. Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle.

Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. Ensures software standards are met.


Minimum Requirements

  • DevSecOps/CI/CD full pipeline tools implementation knowledge/experience
  • Ansible or Chef or Puppet or SALT experience (Config Management code tools)
  • Terraform or HEAT or Cloud Formation experience (Infrastructure as code tools)
  • AWS, Azure, OpenStack or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience (cloud infrastructure)
  • GitlabCI, Jenkins, Github Actions, CircleCI, TravisCI (CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance)
  • RedHat Linux environment experience
  • Ansible/Ansible Tower Knowledge and Scripting experience
  • Agile Methodologies
  • Knowledge and/or experience with Kubernetes, distributed systems, machine learning and multi-threaded applications is a plus
  • An active Interim Secret security clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance required. Active TS/SCI clearance preferred.

  • JFrog Artifactory / Sonatype Nexus experience
  • Dynamic Application Scanning (DAST) experience
  • Selenium experience
  • Sikuli experience
