Job Description

Are you a professional software engineer with experience in cyber security? If so, Parsons has an exciting opportunity for you! These are critical times in the world of cyber security, and Parsons needs your help to make the world a safer and more secure place, one computer at a time.

To help the government build functional systems that improve delivery of software for agency missions, we are now looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer. They will be responsible for building out a CI/CD pipeline that deploys product updates and writing Infrastructure as Code software scripts to manage development, test, and production environments to provide a Kubernetes (Red Hat OpenShift) microservices environment for the developers to run their applications.

If you have a solid background in software engineering, are proficient with microservice technologies (Docker, Helm, Kubernetes), and scripting with Python or Groovy or Bash, we'd love to speak with you. Knowledge of DevSecOps practices (such as DISA STIG hardening) is a big plus for this assignment.

Skills and Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
• Experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role
• Self-starter who can work effectively as a member of a small team on a multi-team program
• Proficient with git and git workflows and GitOps concepts
• Proficient with building and running Docker containers
• Good knowledge of Python, Groovy, and/or Bash
• Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Top Secret
• Must have or be willing to take and maintain a CI Poly

Salary Range: $104,200.00 - $210,600.00
