Senior C+ Developer

Project description

One of the world's largest providers of products and services to the energy industry has a need to develop and support a cloud-based enterprise information system in the Oil & Gas domain. Our project is stable, long-term, and constantly adopts new technologies.

Work involves close cooperation with the Customer team located in Houston while following Agile principles. Our team is senior, supportive, and friendly.

Responsibilities

1. Work with the development team following Agile development practices.
2. Design, estimate, implement features and bug fixes as prioritized by the Product Owner.
3. Maintain a high level of quality in coding, writing unit tests, documentation, and testing thoroughly before passing it to QA for verification.
4. Keep up to date with existing and emerging technologies relevant to the role.
5. Communicate and escalate issues in a clear and timely manner.

SKILLS

Must have

1. Background in advanced geometry (5+ years experience in practical implementations).
2. Design and implementation of computational geometry design.
3. Experience with large scale linear or quadratic programming.
4. C++ experience.

Nice to have

1. Exposure and experience with Geological and Geophysical concepts.
2. Cloud technology experience.
