With rapid growth comes opportunity. We are looking for a Programming Engineer to join the team in Camarillo office! In this role you will provide maintenance, troubleshooting, repairing and optimizing of manufacturing equipment to achieve higher quality, productivity, and overall safety. This is a full-time, exempt position.
Responsibilities:
  • Assists with producing daily machine performance and prepares production reports documenting work performed. Records and reports damaged, worn or broken parts.
  • Able to execute moderately complex assignments such as revision and modification of machinery that impact production under the direction of manager.
  • Maintains regular manufacturing equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  • Troubleshoots, repairs or replaces electrical components and mechanical failures promptly and efficiently.
  • Utilizes PLC (programmable logic controller) Knowledge to diagnose and troubleshoot PLC-based control systems.
  • Sets up machinery for production to ensure readiness and operational capacity.
  • Collaborates with the production team to proactively identify and address potential equipment issues by redesigning or implementing improvements either mechanically or electronically.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience in related field required
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a maintenance industrial and/or manufacturing environment experience required that includes the following:
    • Understanding of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and experience in troubleshooting PLC-based systems
    • Proficiency in reading electrical and mechanical schematics and blueprints.
    • Solid knowledge of mechanical systems and pneumatics.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat required.
Salary Range (applicable to California):
$73,600 - $92,000 annual base salary
