About Our Client
Our client is a family owned metal stamping manufacturer with the majority of their customer base in the automotive industry. Their customer bases includes local molders from the Chicagoland area and customers like Bosh and Tusco. One of the main responsibilities of the role is customer communications along with root cause/corrective action, submitting PPAPs, and assisiting in IATF internal audits.
Job Description

• Overseeing the entire PPAP process
• Preparing and conducting internal IATF 16949 audtis
• Working directly with customers to discuss reports and non-conformances
• Lead corrective actions through Root Cause Analysis methods
• Reading and interpreting blueprints
• PFMEAs

The Successful Applicant

• 5+ years of experience in a quality manufacturing setting
• Background with automotive manufacturing and the standards assocaited
• Knowledge of IATF 16949
• Experience with leading or assiting with internal audits
• Strong experience with PPAPs
• Strong Root Cause and Corrective Action experience.
• Experience with PFMEA
• GD&T Experience
