How you’ll make an impact:
The Innovation Group at SiriusXM is seeking an Engineering Intern to be part of an engineering team working on next generation chipsets and modules for vehicle entertainment systems. The Intern will be working with a cross-functional design team to validate the RF tuner IC and the ancillary electronic circuits such as the oscillator circuits, filters circuit, amplifier circuits, etc.
What you’ll do:
Plan and assist the design and validation of RF Tuner IC and ancillary circuits.
Perform gain, noise figure, and linearity measurements and analysis of the RF circuits and systems.
Plan and assist in the development of test procedures and test automation with LabVIEW.
Maintain required test procedure and design documentation.
Participate in RF circuits design reviews
Complete technical assignments and document results in report form
What you’ll need:
You must be 18 years of age or older
Internships are open to current students enrolled at a university (those graduating by May 2026 are preferred) and recent graduates who graduated within the 12-month period prior to the start of the internship
Course of study must be in a Bachelor of Science (Master of Science preferred) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and other STEM program.
General knowledge of RF Specific lab equipment (Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, RF Signal Generator, Network analyzer etc…)
Basic computer skills and working knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Drive (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
Cadence, ADS, LabVIEW experience is a strong plus.
Wireless communication and RF design classes
Strong teamwork and positive attitude are a must
Possess good written and verbal communication skills
Good interpersonal communication skills and ability to operate within a team environment
Good organizational and time management skills, including daily and weekly planning and multitasking
Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
