Manufacturing Process Engineer
We are seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to monitor the quality and efficiency performance for assigned manufacturing line(s) on the 3rd shift. Your responsibilities will include driving continuous improvement through process development, root cause analysis and systematic problem solving, as well as utilizing data from various sources to optimize line throughput and minimize downtime. This role requires a Bachelor's degree, preferred, and one to two years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Optimize line throughput and minimize changeover downtime
- Maximize machine utilization and minimize machine-generated scrap
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs and streamline processes
- Create and maintain wave and reflow soldering profiles
- Design and procure production tooling
- Coordinate line reconfigurations and machine move activities
- Ensure scheduled machine maintenance is performed
- Promote open communication and exchange of information within the department
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred; and one to two years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
