Job Summary

You will be an innovator in the Cybersecurity division of Comcast Technology Solutions (CTS). This division specializes in offering Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and subscription-based security solutions to large enterprises and the federal government. For the first time ever, customers are now able to purchase some of the best of Comcast’s own in-house security technologies. These solutions are proven-at-scale to defend critical infrastructure and effectively reduce cost. The Cybersecurity Suite efficiently improves security and compliance while keeping costs in check. Responsible for planning and deploying new software-as-a-service (SaaS) and web applications. Analyzes, tests and assists with the integration of new software. Assists with tracking performance metrics. Provides mentorship and support to other Engineers. Integrates knowledge of business and functional priorities. Acts as a catalyst in a sophisticated and crucial environment. May lead projects and share expertise.

Core Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with project partners to identify product and technical requirements. Conducts analysis to resolve integration needs.
  • Aids in the design of the DataBee platform, supports application development and customizations. Develops software update processes and assists in the roll-out of software releases.
  • Keeps current with technological developments within the industry. Monitors and evaluates competitive applications and products. Reviews literature, patents and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects.
  • Assists with technical leadership throughout the design process and assists in guidance with regards to practices, procedures and techniques.
  • Works with DataBee’s software development teams to package and deploy new software revisions.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as vital.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Additional Required Skills and Experience

  • Experience working with GitHub and GitHub Actions.
  • Experience with scripting languages including Bash and Python.
  • Experience working on SaaS products.
  • Experience using platform tools including Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
  • Experience using AWS services including EKS, S3, Lambdas, SQS, ElastiCache, Route53, and ALB.

Education

Bachelor's Degree

While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.

Relevant Work Experience

5-7 Years

Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
