Cloud Ops/Platform Engineer Senior

Job Description

BAE Systems, Inc. is currently looking for a Senior level Cloud/Ops Platform Engineer to join an innovative team of developers in Hunstville, AL. This position supports the development of mission-critical applications for a federal government client focused on national security.

The senior-level Cloud/Ops Platform Engineer will:

1. support the Architecture, Engineering, Deployment, integration, and operations of cloud-based cybersecurity infrastructure and application deployment pipelines;
2. create and maintain DEVOPS deployment pipelines to Kubernetes environments in coordination with full stack developers;
3. provide troubleshooting of infrastructure services hosted in cloud environments.

• GIT based source code management
• Harbor Container Repositories
• Kubernetes Deployments
• Azure Cloud Services
• S3 Object stores
• PostgresDB Operations and Maintenance
• Web Service performance and availability monitoring
• Agile Development methodologies

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Infrastructure-as-code experience
• Hybrid-Cloud/Multi-cloud operations experience
• Service Mesh experience

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $127900 - $217400

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
