Are you ready to orchestrate the symphony of secure, rapid delivery? As aDevSecOps Professional , you'll be the virtuoso working in harmony with Release Train Leadership, Agile Teams, and the System Team. Your mission: to enable the swift and secure delivery of capabilities through a cutting-edge Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) Pipeline to production systems.

Your Role:

  • Pipeline Architect: Design, build, and maintain the entire CI/CD pipeline, including source control, continuous integration, automated testing, security scanning, artifact storage, and automated deployment/delivery to development, test, and production systems.
  • Key Player: Be at the heart of the action, making a tangible impact on some of the U.S. Government's most critical missions.
  • Tech Innovator: Utilize the latest technologies in Cloud Computing, AI/Client, and DevSecOps to drive innovation and efficiency.


Clearance Requirements:

  • Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain SCI access and a willingness to obtain a CI Polygraph.
  • US Citizenship is a must.


Your Toolkit:

  • Experience with GitLab, BitBucket, GitHub Enterprise, or similar source repository and CI/CD collaboration platforms.
  • Proficiency with Kubernetes, EKS, OpenShift, or other container orchestration platforms.
  • Expertise in Docker or similar container technologies.
  • Skills in building/compiling Java, Python, or JavaScript applications.
  • Familiarity with Nexus or similar artifact repositories in air-gapped environments.
  • Comprehensive understanding of all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle.


What You'll Do:

  • Pipeline Mastery: Build and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines, managing deployments across multiple domains.
  • Best Practices Guru: Establish best practices for source control, build, integration, automated testing, security scanning, and application delivery.
  • Collaborative Partner: Work closely with Developers and SREs to ensure seamless end-to-end delivery of solutions.
  • Automation Expert: Automate development and operations processes to ensure reliability and repeatability.
  • Infrastructure Innovator: Leverage Infrastructure as Code and Configuration as Code to automate deployments.


Bonus Skills:

  • Experience with SAFe Agile Methodologies.
  • Information Assurance/DoD 8570 certification IAT Level II or higher (like Security+) or willingness to obtain within 6 months.
  • Technical background in Software Development or SecDevOps.
  • Experience with Cloud Computing and Hybrid On-Prem solutions.
  • AWS Certification (Developer, DevOps, Architect, etc.).
  • Experience with Security/Software Supply Chain scanning.
  • Proficiency in Automated Testing and Static Code Analysis.
  • Familiarity with Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or similar Configuration Management technologies.
  • Experience with ArgoCD or similar continuous delivery technologies.
  • Expertise in Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code tools.
  • Proficiency in Docker or similar container technologies.
  • Experience with Kubernetes or other container orchestration platforms.
