Quality Engineer

Salary: $67,000 - $100,500

Our client is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join their team in Russells Point, OH. The Quality Engineer will play a key role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with a few years of experience looking to grow their career in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement quality assurance protocols to maintain product standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure part specifications are met.
• Conduct part measurements and inspections to assess product conformity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design and manufacturing, to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Utilize Catia/3D software for part and product analysis.
• Prepare reports and present findings related to quality issues and improvements.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams to negotiate quality standards and address concerns.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Technical Design) OR
• Associate’s Degree with equivalent related experience OR
• 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

Work Experience:

• 0-6 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with preference for candidates who have completed at least one co-op term with Honda or in a similar setting.

Desired Skills:

• Strong foundation in quality assurance principles.
• Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding of technical drawings.
• Experience with part measurement techniques.
• Familiarity with Catia/3D or other 3D modeling software.
• Proficient in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
