Charter Communications, Inc. in Greenwood Village, CO seeks a Senior Software Engineer to test and validate all Advanced WiFi releases for firmware, Plume, SCP Services, WIN UI, and CUJO, including new features, feature enhancements, and bug fixes. Scope of testing includes:

1. Router firmware functionality and integration
2. Backend cloud services functionality and integration
3. UI features
4. Device interoperability
5. E2E integration
6. WiFi customer experience

Key responsibilities include:

1. Developing test cases and steps based on product/business and technical requirements.
2. Observing systems under test to ensure optimal behavior, including validation of log messages.
3. Logging identified defects, performing troubleshooting, and collaborating with triage and development teams for root cause analysis.
4. Supporting product and architecture teams to identify missing requirements, gaps in solution design, and end-to-end use cases to ensure optimal customer experience.
5. Providing oversight and guidance to junior team members.

The Senior Software Engineer does not supervise the members of the team.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum qualifications include:

1. 3 years of experience in API testing and execution using Postman, Rest Assured, Swagger, Curl, and SoapUI.
2. 2 years of experience utilizing SQL for command usage, debugging, and developing queries in database architecture.
3. 1 year of experience with TCP/UDP, Network Protocols, IP Routing, and DHCP.
4. 1 year of experience utilizing Unix operating system, specifically debugging and command usage.

A hybrid (in-office and remote work) arrangement is available.

Salaries depend on geography, experience, and education; negotiations begin at $97,157/year.
