Job Title: Netskope Engineer
Location: Hybrid; on site once a week in Dublin, CA
Duration: 6 months + CTH
The Network Security Engineer III is responsible for thinking strategically, envisioning, and taking steps to implement security improvements to protect Client' information and assets. The Network Security Engineer leads initiatives to harden Client's network security posture and capabilities from concept through delivery, define and follow discreet procedures and protocols to ensure integrity and compliance. The Network Security Engineer leads the product area strategy, roadmap, design, and vendor/product due-diligence functions. The Network Security Engineer serves as a liaison to the other Information Security and IT functional groups, influencing outcomes as appropriate. The Network Security Engineer operates as the Network Security Subject Matter Expert (SME), provides 3rd level support, and excels at production issue resolution.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Research, evaluate, develop, and implement Network Security designs and standards following industry best practices.
- Ensure that current and planned technical solutions are compatible with the company's business needs and strategic objectives.
- Work with the other IT organizations to design, develop, and implement Enterprise Security solutions in support of development, test, and production environments.
- Provide technical expertise and assistance to other IT, Business groups and Operations team.
- Provide input on technology roadmap, long-term strategies, and architectural decisions
- Operate the production environment toolsets and services
- Work with vendors to plan and deploy solutions, resolve issues, and implement enhancements
- Build and maintain strong working relationships in Client organizational structure to help align technical goals and vision and implement Enterprise Security solutions
QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Experience with Netskope (or competitor products: Zscaler, Forcepoint, Fortinet, etc.)
- implementation of VPN alternative products (preferably Private Access).
- Experience deploying Zero Trust solutions
- Experienced with SASE implementation
- Network Security background
- Netskope Certified Cloud Security Integrator certification.
Desired:
- Email security gateways like Proofpoint
- Senior level technical certification or equivalent (CISSP, CCSP, MCSA) with demonstrated relevant experience
- Scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, and JavaScript
- Able to provide leadership, guidance, and training to others
- Strong in decision-making
- Leadership skills/ experience
- Netskope Certified Cloud Security Architect certification
