Project Engineer

Sandbox Solar is looking for an entry level Project Engineer. This position is ideal for a new graduate with a degree in Construction Management, as it will provide a multi-year path to become a Project Manager. We aim to develop another SuperStar in this role!

The Project Engineer will work in every part of our company, learning about estimating, permitting, design, installation, customer support, electrical, leadership, and management. Promotion to Project Manager will be based on proficiency in each area of our operation, rather than a defined timeline.

Requirements Include:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, or a directly related field
• Successful completion of a Construction Management Internship in a related industry
• Strong and authoritative communication skills that instill confidence in team members, clients, vendors, and management
• The ability to inspire and influence others with or without line authority
• Organizational skills and the ability to manage time efficiently while being unphased by multiple tasks coming from multiple sources with potential conflicting priorities and deadlines
• A strong work ethic and commitment to quality
• A willingness to learn a new industry in a new way

This won’t be the right opportunity for those who:

Expected salary for this position is $62,400 - $72,800 (or $30-$35 per hour).
