Database Developer – Mid Level (Hybrid)

Job title: Database Developer – Mid Level
Rate: $90/hr
LOCATION DETAILS: Charlotte, NC – hybrid, 3 days onsite/2 days home office
Only taking USC, GC or H4 EAD
Duration: 12+ months

Skills and Knowledge

1. 5+ years of hands-on experience with at least one of the databases including: Postgres, Oracle, DB2, Sybase etc.
2. Must be highly proficient in writing complex SQLs by incorporating Joins, Aggregations, Common Table expressions, Analytical functions etc.
3. Hands-on experience in writing and understanding stored procedures / packages / Functions
4. Experienced in database performance tuning including indexing, partitioning, analyzing SQL plans etc.
5. Experience with SQL database programming, SQL performance tuning, relational model analysis, queries, stored procedures, views, functions and triggers
6. Demonstrate strong and hands-on experience and background in database principles and concepts
7. Must have a solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing principles, best practices
8. Experience with ETL tools preferably Informatica
9. Knowledge in developing UNIX scripts
10. Strong experience with Agile/SCRUM methodology
