Ads/Monetization Technology teams are building the next-generation monetization platforms to help millions of customers grow their businesses, utilizing our products like TikTok. Our teams develop a wide variety of advertisements for numerous uses including feeds, live streaming, branding, measurement, targeting, vertical solutions, creative solutions, and business integrity.

*This channel serves as the entry point for our general hiring process: you will go through two to three rounds of technical interviews and then proceed to team matching. Your profile will be reviewed by multiple teams within Monetization Technology, which is a great benefit!

Key Responsibilities

  1. Participate in the development of a large-scale Ads system.
  2. Responsible for the development of state-of-the-art applied machine learning projects.
  3. Own key targeting components or strategies in the TikTok ads monetization ecosystem.
  4. Work with product and business teams on product vision.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other relevant majors.
  2. Excellent programming, debugging, and optimization skills in one or more general purpose programming languages, including but not limited to: Go, C/C++, Python.
  3. Experience with deep learning and machine learning.
  4. Ability to think critically and to formulate solutions to problems in a clear and concise way.

Preferred Qualification

  1. Good understanding in one of the following domains: ads bidding & auction, ads quality control, and online advertising systems.

Job Information:

For Pay Transparency

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $113500 - $250000 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
