Make an Impact by:
- Providing on-site support in fiber network operations, troubleshooting, and rectification of fiber circuits.
- Taking ownership of fiber splicing, termination, patching, and testing for all cable diversion works.
- Liaising with stakeholders and external parties to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Being on standby to attend to fiber cable faults related to fiber diversion works.
- Executing all access fiber cable works in the designated area following established operation procedures and engineering instructions.
- Assisting stakeholders in meeting target handover dates for fiber cable projects.
- Liaising with internal parties to address fiber implementation issues.
- Utilizing fiber equipment for fiber cable troubleshooting.
- Analyzing situations and identifying the best solutions to meet customers' needs.
Skills for Success:
- Nitec/Higher Nitec in Electronics Engineering/Telecommunications or in a relevant field.
- 1 to 2 years of related working experience in fiber network operations.
- Effective time management skills to manage daily tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to guide and communicate with internal stakeholders.
- Meticulous attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently while also being a team player.
