Chief Engineer

Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Chief Engineer to lead our engineering team and oversee all aspects of maintenance management within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, project management skills, and a deep understanding of engineering principles. As the Chief Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of all engineering systems while fostering a culture of safety and excellence.

Responsibilities

1. Oversee maintenance management activities, ensuring that all equipment is maintained in accordance with industry standards.
2. Utilize voltmeters and ohmmeters for troubleshooting electrical systems and ensuring proper functionality.
3. Implement and manage Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to streamline maintenance processes.
4. Lead project management initiatives, coordinating resources and timelines to achieve project goals effectively.
5. Develop and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of engineering objectives with organizational goals.
7. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and systems to identify areas for improvement or necessary repairs.

Requirements

1. Proven experience in supervising engineering teams and managing maintenance operations.
2. Strong knowledge of voltmeters, ohmmeters, logic controllers, and other relevant engineering tools.
3. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
4. Proficient in project management methodologies with a track record of successful project delivery.
5. Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal, for effective communication across all levels of the organization.
6. Ability to analyze problems logically and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
7. A degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
8. CPO Certified is a MUST.
9. EPA Certified is a MUST.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Experience:

• CMMS: 1 year (Preferred)
• Supervising experience: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• EPA Certification (Required)

• Addison, TX 75001: Relocate before starting work (Required)
