Field Engineer/Instrument Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Instrument Engineer with 7-10 years in the LNG, refinery, or chemical plant sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on instrumentation (75%) with some electrical experience (25%) and will possess the following skills:

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct field walkdowns and physical asset verification of plant equipment and piping.
• Perform valve, instrument, and equipment tagging in the field.
• Prepare redlines and as-built drawings (P&ID, layouts, vendor drawings).
• Ensure quality checks on engineering drawings and implement changes.
• Collaborate with customers to understand and meet their requirements.
• Customize specification and loop drawing templates.
• Coordinate with drafting teams to update drawings.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of field work experience.
• Proficient in reading P&IDs, piping layouts, and process flow diagrams.
• Familiarity with various field instruments and I/O allocation.
• Strong knowledge of data import/export using Excel and MS Access.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
• Willingness to work on-site and in remote locations.
