This is a rare opportunity to play a pivotal role in an early-stage company, working closely with the co-founders in both leadership and hands-on capacities to develop a groundbreaking conversational AI platform from very early stages!
Our client, born from the success of a larger organization, has built an AI platform that blends cutting-edge technology with bold ambition and visionary thinking. As they gear up for an imminent product launch, they’re looking for a VP of Engineering to help transform the future of AI.
In this role, you’ll have the autonomy to shape and execute AI and engineering strategies while being deeply involved in product development from concept to launch! Leading a talented team, you’ll ensure systems are secure, scalable, and reliable, while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. You'll take ownership of key initiatives, including compliance and emerging technologies, collaborating closely with leadership to make a lasting impact in the AI industry.
This is a rare opportunity to drive both strategy and hands-on development while working closely with visionary co-founders whilst putting your own stamp in the business.
The person
* Early-stage start-up experience in GenAI.
* You still classify yourself as a ‘hands-on builder’ within AI!
* Strong knowledge within Conversational AI or Generative AI.
* Knowledge of RAG, LangChain, LangGraph, LLM, ML, Multi-agents and NLP
* Strong engineering leadership experience
* An AI fanatic that wants to push the boundaries within AI!
* Happy to work 5 days a week in Miami onsite (Relocation assistance available)

* Building a Conversational AI / GenAI platform from the ground up!
* Advising the cofounder / CEO around new ways of working, tends and technology!
* Building a world class AI engineering team from scratch!
* Very ‘hands on’ to build the platform from the ground up!
* Able to enhance, drive and scale a world class AI platform!
* Early start-up environment with the equivalent of series B funding!
* Office based in Miami, Florida (5 days a week)
