Electrical Maintenance Specialist (Hiring Immediately)

Support production operations by performing preventative electricalmechanical
maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of steel deck production equipment, as
well as repairs and maintenance of facility.
**_Essential Duties:_**
* Perform troubleshooting and repairs on electricalmechanical systems.
* Analyze, troubleshoot and repair equipment of all manufacturing equipment.
* Comply with applicable regulations and the departments Safety program
* Perform general building repairs and maintenance
* Other duties as assigned.
* Must have extensive electrical knowledge
* Strong PLC and VFD knowledgeexperience.
* Experience in welding, fabricating and mechanical equipment repairs
* Knowledge of hydraulics, electrical panels (120V, 240V, 480V) and electric motors and drives
* Ability to read measurements accurately.
* Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure.
* Ability to read blueprints and schematics
* Experience in troubleshooting and repairing various types of production machinery preferably in a manufacturing environment.
* Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out written and oral instructions.
* Must have basic knowledge of lock out tag out and PPE.
**_PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:_**
* Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; handle objects, tools, controls and reach with hands and arms; climb and balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
* Regularly required to lift andor move up to 50 pounds.
* Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Must have normal color vision.

* Regularly works near moving mechanical parts;
* Work may be performed in high places andor in outside weather conditions.
* The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
