Software Engineer

Essential Job Duties

• Develop web applications (front-end and back-end) with focus on usability and scalability based on business requirements
• Production support and trouble-shooting for existing applications
• Work with senior developers in solving new and existing technical issues
• Perform maintenance and development of existing web applications in a multi-tier architecture.
• Build robust, reusable and highly maintainable web services.
• Working with business analysts, functional users and interacting with other developers to translate business requirements into technical ideas and ensure that code functionality meets requirements

Experience

• 0-3 years of development experience with strong recent experience in web applications
• Need to know Java well and solid understanding in Object-Oriented design principles
• Solid experience with OO driven development and frameworks, JavaScript frameworks such as AngularJS (1 or 2) are highly desired
• Solid experience in HTML, Javascript, CSS and front-end technologies
• Relational Database knowledge and experience
• RESTful API design and implementation experience
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Experience as a SQL developer on relational database, such as Oracle or SQL
• Responsive UI/UX design, web design or Mobile App development experience
• Hands-on experience with Node.js, MongoDB, Grunt
• Linux scripting skills

Education

• Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science or similar engineering field

Software Requirements
