The ED sits at the intersection of multi-team collaboration and is responsible for providing strategic leadership and executive oversight to all aspects of the Software Development and Engineering department projects and activities. They will develop business objectives, project standards and performance goals that are competitive with industry standards. The ED is a dynamic catalyst and provides leadership and direction for diverse and complex functions. As a business visionary and SME, they contribute to the development of the organization's business strategy, interpret business strategy and develop organizational objectives to align with this strategy. As a mentor, the ED will also align with the individuals on his team and provide guidance and insight for professional development and growth. This role is for a top-tier technology leader that can apply themselves across a broad spectrum of teams, technologies, and functions. Initially the ED will lead across Help Desk, IT Administration, IT Operations, Security and Cyber Security, Package Systems, Data and Business Intelligence areas; expecting the role will evolve with the integration and growth of Masergy within **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Business Technology. This person will be responsible for department budgets, leading managers, and individual contributors. Regular travel to the Masergy HQ will be required for anyone that is not located in the Plano area. Anyone in the Plano area will have occasional travel to the **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Job Description

  • SaaS - SalesForce, SalesCloud, Oracle Fusion Financials.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates communication between staff, management, vendors and other technology resources within the organization.
  • Leads multiple information and communications systems and projects, including voice, data, imaging and office automation.
  • Coordinates the back office computer operations of the information system, including local area networks and wide-area networks.
  • Designs, implements and evaluates the systems that support end users in the productive use of computer hardware and software.
  • Develops and implements user-training programs.
  • Oversees and evaluates system security and back-up procedures.
  • Participates in departmental performance reviews.
  • Builds, mentors and motivates staff for optimal work performance.
  • Researches and implements new and emerging technologies and services that will enhance the Company's overall business performance.
  • Responsible for identifying service vendors, negotiating contracts and change orders and implementing new systems or procedures.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance.
