JOB DESCRIPTION
A client of Insight Global is looking for a quality engineer to join their team in Leominster, MA plant. They will be responsible for mapping their processes/ updating the processes already in place and studying what will work best.
Their day to day will be:
•Create, implement, and maintain quality procedures and processes in conformance with ISO9001 and the company's Quality System.
•Analyze quality data and recommend changes in quality procedures and processes.
•Ensure calibration of quality instruments is performed.
•Exercise independent discretion and judgement to recommend solutions to quality issues.
•Ensure the company's Quality System is implemented and maintained in a fashion that assures all manufactured products are of the highest quality.
•Lead and/or participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to quality.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Documentation skills
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3 Years Quality Engineer
- ISO experience
- Read and interpret professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations
