Software Engineer

Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs application software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions. Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with other teams (Integration & Verification, etc.) in the planning, design, development, and utilization of data processing systems for products solving our customer requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other related degree
2. Active DoD Secret Clearance
3. Experience with C/C++ and Linux

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Shell scripting experience
2. Python experience
3. Java development
4. Agile development experience
5. Configuration management for software, e.g. GIT
6. Full software development lifecycle experience
7. Software peer review process
8. Software development environment experience
9. Experience working in teams to develop SW and troubleshoot SW to find/fix defects
10. Experience in the development of User Interface, process control, and/or algorithms
11. Knowledge of the Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) and/or SBIRS architecture a bonus
12. Willingness to support requirement development and decomposition
13. Experience working with remote teams
