Job Description: Manufacturing Process Engineering Co-Op - Spring 2025

WORK LOCATION: Billerica, MA

Core Purpose: Our site in Billerica is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineering Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2025 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration. The purpose of this co-op role is to support the process engineers in the back end portion of the Billerica filter manufacturing line through the collection and analysis of data that results in improved first pass yield or reduced process variation.

In this role, you will:

1. Collect and summarize data to support or reject a proposal for a process change.
2. Review procedures for accuracy.
3. Evaluate the safety and efficacy of processes.
4. Conduct operator tasks to become familiar with the steps & controls associated with a process.

You're a good fit if you have:

• Sophomore or higher in BS Chemical Engineering accredited program

Outstanding Candidates Will Have:

• Ability to communicate project status and provide updates or barriers to completion.
• Confident in communication skills related to reaching out to operators, technicians, and engineers for input or assistance.
• Initiative to seek additional tasks or see tasks that require attention.
• Critical thinking to evaluate situations/information based on evidence and objective data.

Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year:

• BS in Chemical Engineering with an expected grad date 2026-2027
