CNC Machinist (2nd shift)

Our growing partner in North Tonawanda, NY is looking to hire a skilled Multi-Axis CNC Machinist to join their team!
This position is 2nd shift with flexible hours (start time can be 1PM, 2PM or 3PM). A 4-day work week is available as well! 10 hour days, and you choose what days you can work Monday-Friday!
Pay: $22-35/hr depending on experience.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming, setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to fabricate metallic and non-metallic parts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Setup & Run Doosan TT1800 S/Y machine
• Follow process routing and verify that process is producing components correctly
• Receive raw material and load machine or barfeeder
• Verify and troubleshoot new programs on initial run on multi-axis milling machines
• Use precision measuring instruments to perform first piece and in-process inspections for conformance to blueprint specifications, in accordance with inspection plans
• Accurately complete paperwork

Required Skills

• Min. One year experience setting up and running twin spindle, live tool lathes
• Experience with FANUC controls
• Able to interpret G-code and provide feedback to programmer
• Programming Experience a plus
