This is an outstanding opportunity in our Wilton, Connecticut facility to join our Quality Team. In this position you will be responsible for the following key duties:
Drive continuous improvement activities through structured problem solving, employment of 6 sigma tools, and influencing of ancillary engineering teams.
Coach ancillary teams in SPC and 6 sigma improvement projects
Drive implementation of Statistical Process Control (SPC) across assembly and fabrication environments.
Facilitate Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (pFMEA) activities
Develop insightful and innovative data products and insights
This position is eligible to telework 2 days/week.
Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in technical area (e.g. Industrial, Production, Electrical, Mechanical, Optical or Chemical engineering.)
Technical Skills and Experience-
Experience creating data products using TIBCO Spotfire Data Visualization Software
Experience facilitating structure problem solving activities (8D/A3, Cause Mapping, Fishbone, etc.) and applying quality tools.
Experience in a Quality Engineering/Assurance Role in a technical environment.
Experience with SAP
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, PowerPoint)
Proficient in Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
Solid Working Knowledge of Backend Teams/SharePoint Architecture
Programming Experience in Python, R, and/or VBA preferred
Basic knowledge of Supply Chain Management and Supply Chain Quality Fundamentals.
Basic knowledge of Quality Management System implementation in a manufacturing environment (preferably concurrent with development)
