Mead & Hunt is currently looking for a highly motivated individual to join our A&BE team as a Plumbing Engineer.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading the plumbing design of multiple projects of various sizes
- Preparing reports and studies
- Selecting, specifying, and estimating costs of plumbing system equipment
- Performing calculations as require
- Conducting periodic construction site inspections
- Supervises staff on project teams
- Travel will be required
The successful candidate must have all of the following:
- A bachelor's degree (or higher) in mechanical or architectural engineering from an accredited college or university.
- At least six years of relevant plumbing engineering experience
- PE license in any state with the ability to obtain in additional states
The ideal candidate will have experience in any/all of the following:
- Leading plumbing design of complex projects
- Performing plumbing calculations for system layout and sizing
- Using Revit to create plumbing drawings
- Military projects
- Fire protection design
- Plumbing codes
