Under supervision, perform maintenance, monitoring repairs to the Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Fire, Life Safety, and Control systems for the CE facility to keep CE facility and building systems up to applicable standards as assigned.
Under supervision, maintenance of the equipment will include cleaning, inspecting, calibrating and changing parts to maintain the HVAC systems and associated equipment at optimum performance levels.
Ensure that work performed in client space is accomplished with a minimum of disruption and is followed by adequate cleanup.
Demonstrate the ability to learn and understand compressed air systems and their supporting components.
BMS systems, including but not limited to diagnostics and repairs.
Assists and Maintains responsibility for facility services, preventative maintenance, general maintenance and technical proficiency.
Ensure the availability of an adequate operating inventory of tools and supplies and develop sources for stock materials related to maintaining the facility.
Record readings and make adjustments where necessary to ensure proper operation of equipment.
Comply with departmental policy for the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
Maintains a clean and safe workplace.
Ensure strict adherence to Critical System Standards.
Ensure strict adherence to MOP/SOP/EOP Work Processes and procedures.
Ensure strict adherence to Critical Awareness Process, Technical Bulletins, established engineering guidelines, processes, and procedures.
Performs additional job duties as requested.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA)
The individual in this role must be available for Call-in work and perform other duties as required.
Skilled in use of tools and machinery common to trade and craft.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
The incumbent will not have any supervisory responsibility.
Capable of lifting at least 50lbs and using ladders up to 12'
III. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSHands-on experience in a data center/critical facility, including UPS Systems, emergency generators, and switch-gear equipment a plus.
High School diploma or GED equivalent
Working knowledge of computer applications including Microsoft - Word and Excel.
Demonstrated verbal/written communication skills with strong organizational and analytical skills.
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents.
Record of excellent internal and external customer service.
