Software Engineer (Front End)
What You’ll Do
Responsibilities:
- Capture business requirements for custom web applications.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support custom solutions.
- Integrate your applications with multiple data sources and other applications.
- Design data models to elegantly connect with reliable sources of truth.
- Perform extracts, translations, and loads of data.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive knowledge of agile software engineering processes, tools, methods, test development and support.
- Exposure to application development for the web using languages/frameworks such as JavaScript, NodeJS, Gatsby, React, Angular.
- Experience demonstrating, authenticating, and building APIs (REST/SOAP).
- Helpful knowledge of Cloud Platforms/Tools: OpenStack/OpenShift, Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services.
- Experience with DevOps build tools such as Jenkins, Puppet, Chef, Spinnaker, and Ansible.
- Experience with Git version control systems.
- Validated ability to lead through influence in highly matrixed organizations.
