Mechanical Project Engineer I-II - HVAC & Plumbing Design Experience Required

As a Mechanical Project Engineer, working with the Senior Project Engineer and/or Principal Engineer, you will manage the development of project documents in conjunction with the work of other architects, engineers, and technicians. To do this you will be responsible for:
- HVAC load calculations
- HVAC & Plumbing system design
- Coordinating manpower assignments
- Managing project financials (Including reporting, EV updates, etc.)
- Working with industry vendors

Your Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME), or equivalent work experience. Master's degree is acceptable but not required.
- 3-10 years of experience as a Professional Mechanical Engineer delivering mechanical design services on building projects in the state of California.
- Proficient in all levels of construction document development. Documented leadership skills/abilities are preferred.
- Ability to create and maintain strong client relationships.
- Effective manager of his/her own time including prioritizing, estimating hours, and completing tasks on time.
- Self-motivated and committed to growing him/herself and the firm.
- Experience with AutoCAD/Revit drafting.
- Possesses sound judgment and is able to provide reasoning/support for his/her decisions
Preferred requirements include:
- Current registration as a Mechanical Engineer (P.E.) in California or in another state with the ability to become licensed in California within 6 months of hire.
Compensation & Benefits
The expected pay range for this role is $110,000-140,000 annual salary (must be willing to work in-office 50% of each week). Actual pay will be determined based on license, experience, qualifications, geographic location, business needs, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
