Manufacturing Engineer

Grantsburg, WI - Hourly Range $30.00-$45.00hr

Job Brief

Perform various engineering duties and tasks under the direction of the Vice President of Operations

Responsibilities

• Programming : Proficient in programming for manufacturing processes, enhancing efficiency
• Fixturing and Tooling : Implementing fixtures and tools to improve manufacturing processes
• Maintain BOM’s and Part Routings: Responsible for maintaining BOM’s and part routings to ensure quality and cost effectiveness.
• Material Sourcing : Capable of sourcing materials needed for production, ensuring quality and cost effectiveness
• Estimated Cost/Maintain Cost estimate : Responsible for estimating and maintaining cost estimates for manufacturing processes to aid in budgeting and financial planning
• Provide Manufacturing Support: Provide necessary support to the manufacturing team, troubleshooting issues, and implanting solutions to enhance productivity.
• Acts as Project Manager for assigned projects
• Ensure compliance to applicable solicitation and contractual requirements
• Helps train engineers, machinists and other employees as necessary

Requirements

• A Bachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field and/or equivalent experience is required.
• Strong understanding of Engineering fundamentals for mechanical design and Manufacturing, including knowledge of GD&T.
• Knowledge of Pumping systems a plus
• Possess extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes, machining techniques and tooling technologies.
• Programming CNC mills using Mastercam software.
• Strong written, personal, technical and software skills(Creo, Mastercam, Ecel, Outlook, etc.)
• The ability to manage multiple tasks with very little supervision.
• Knowledge of Quality assurance practices and procedures.
