Job Description:
We are looking for a proactive IT Systems Support Engineer with 2-3 years of hands-on experience to join our team and help manage our IT infrastructure.
- Supporting our ERP and new in-house applications.
- Ensuring cybersecurity for our email and file systems.
- Managing endpoint solutions.
Key Qualifications:
- Strong system administration skills in both Microsoft Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Understanding of fundamental cybersecurity principles, particularly for Microsoft 365 Exchange and file systems, with a willingness to expand knowledge of cybersecurity.
- Enthusiasm for endpoint management and coordination with vendors for effective end-user hardware and software support.
- Proficiency in both English and Mandarin.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee cybersecurity measures for email and file systems to safeguard data and information.
- Manage our existing ERP system while supporting both Linux and Windows environments.
- Coordinate technical support for end-user laptops/desktops with external vendors.
- Provide direct technical support to end users, troubleshooting and resolving issues promptly.
- Supervise Malwarebytes Enterprise anti-virus solutions to protect client systems.
- Maintain and optimize servers, ensuring they are secure and backed up regularly.
- Administer and ensure the stability of Windows servers.
- Manage and maintain Linux (Ubuntu) servers for various applications and services.
- Monitor enterprise applications (e.g., ERP, Office 365) for performance and troubleshoot issues with application owners.
- Ensure network uptime by managing performance and resolving connectivity issues.
- Maintain network security by applying patches, updates, and configuring firewalls.
- Ensure regular backups of servers, storage, and databases, with configured failover systems for redundancy.
- Manage user access through Active Directory, including provisioning and de-provisioning
- Provision and configure VPN, anti-virus, and necessary settings for end users and devices.
- Ensure the overall IT environment, including servers, network, and endpoints, operates smoothly.
