Description

Captivation Software is looking for a mid level software engineer to assist with daily responsibilities on the program.

Responsibilities

1. Leverage Infrastructure as Code to ensure repeatable deployment of resources.
2. Contribute to the architecture, design, and implementation of the platform (Kubernetes).
3. Provide technical solutions and perform analysis of network and storage components of the platform.
4. Lead individual and group efforts from design to implementation.

Requirements

Security Clearance:

1. Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph; therefore, all candidates must be U.S. citizens.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Fourteen (14) years experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
2. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
3. Four (4) years of SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Required Skills:

1. Experience building distributed systems with a strong networking background.
2. Experience performing application, network, and infrastructure monitoring and analysis.
3. Familiarity with open source tools such as Istio, Keycloak, Nginx, Prometheus, Grafana, and Elasticsearch.
4. Experience with administering Kubernetes clusters including deploying and configuring operators and helm charts.
5. Experience with one or more of the following programming languages: Go, Java, JavaScript, Kotlin, Python, Typescript.

Benefits

1. Annual Salary: $130,000 - $270,000 (Depends on the Years of Experience)
