We are seeking a Project Engineer to join our team, working on the design and construction of multi-million dollar data center projects in Reno, NV. My client are a leading US Mechanical Contractor with a strong reputation for quality of service and an award winning company culture.


As a Project Engineer you will be responsible for supporting the Project Delivery team, working initially on two large scale data center builds, before engaging with their varied portfolio across commercial and high tech manufacturing projects. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of cutting-edge builds with a focus on mechanical systems.


Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage project documentation including RFIs, change orders, submittals, and supplemental design documents
  • Coordinate equipment and material deliveries, and handle jobsite logistics like office supplies and orientation paperwork
  • Assist in assembling estimates, budgets, and updating project schedules
  • Oversee subcontractors and vendors, and write and track purchase orders and subcontracts
  • Attend project meetings and track productivity to ensure project goals are met


Skills & Qualifications :

  • A relevant Bachelors Degree or equivalent industry experience
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively
  • Proficient in learning and applying technical concepts
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project)
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Willingness to adapt quickly and maintain professionalism under pressure
