DevOps Intern

Copart is seeking a DevOps INTERN . Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

1. Assist in building, maintaining, and troubleshooting one or more company products.
2. Assist in developing internal tools and processes to maintain stability and performance of our infrastructure.
3. Gather, analyze, and report important IT system data.
4. Provide feedback to developers regarding the status of various IT systems.
5. Assist in the development and management of product-related IT procedures.
6. Research, review, analyze, troubleshoot, and document product-related IT systems.
7. Respond to and resolve production issues.
8. Assist in developing and documenting infrastructure standards.
9. Partake in product-related IT training.
10. Plan and successfully complete IT projects and goals.
11. Present ideas clearly to company personnel on levels of the development process.
12. Help define and establish common and advanced system administration functions.

Qualifications:

1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to produce usable and maintainable documentation.
2. Proficient with standard IT concepts, practices, and procedures.
3. Programming and scripting knowledge.
4. Ability to execute research projects and generate practical results and recommendations.
5. Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and drive to be successful; ability to work independently with minimal supervision or assistance.
6. Strong problem-solving skills: innovation, collaboration, analysis, inductive reasoning.
7. Understanding of business processes and IT systems.
8. Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
9. Knowledge of Python and Java.
10. Knowledge of Agile methodology.
